Our cautious read
Glow Medispa - Kirkland ranks second among the twelve med spas we compared in Bellevue and Kirkland. The order counts how many of 20 set treatment categories each clinic's website names. Its website, glowspaseattle.com, names 13 of the 20 categories.
That describes a menu and nothing else. This site has no firsthand visit to report and offers no medical advice on what the clinic sells. Google lists it as a medical spa in Kirkland, and shows a 5 rating across 61 reviews.
What speaks for it and against it
What it has going for it:
- Its website names a wide menu, second only to the first-ranked clinic.
- Google shows the top possible rating.
Where to be careful:
- A perfect average rests on fewer reviews than the busiest clinics we compared, and a handful of future reviews could move it.
- A long menu does not tell you which services this location performs often, or who performs them.
Where it sits in the order
Sun Aesthetic Clinic ranks first: its website, sunaesthetic.com, names 20 of the 20 categories. SkinSpirit Kirkland (Totem Lake) ranks third: its website, www.skinspirit.com, names 12 of the 20. The gap between a long menu and a shorter one is real, but it is not a measure of skill.
What matters more is who treats you. Read the Washington State Department of Health's guidance for med spas, then look up the person who would treat you on the Washington Medical Commission licensing page. The rule behind it, WAC 246-919-606, is short enough to read yourself, and the clinic should be able to explain how it applies to your treatment.
Before you pick up the phone
If you are considering Glow Medispa - Kirkland, ask who would treat you, what license that person holds and what the total cost would be in writing. Then ask a second clinic the same three things and compare the answers.
