Our cautious read
Pūr Skin Clinic - Kirkland ranks fourth among the twelve med spas we compared in Bellevue and Kirkland. Place in the order depends on how many of 20 set treatment categories a clinic's own website names. Its website, www.purskinclinic.com, names 11 of the 20 categories.
That is a count of menu items. We have not visited as patients, so treat this page as a reading of public listings and not as medical advice. Google lists it as a medical spa in Kirkland, and shows a 4.9 rating across 101 reviews.
What speaks for it and against it
In its favor:
- Its website names a menu in the upper half of the comparison.
- Google shows a high rating across a mid-sized number of reviews.
Reasons to be careful:
- It shares its count with other clinics, so fourth place is where our ordering put it among equals, not a clear lead.
Where it sits in the order
First place goes to Sun Aesthetic Clinic, whose website sunaesthetic.com names all 20. Three clinics list the same count as this one, with 11 of the 20 on their websites: Refine, MD Northwest (refinemdnw.com), Skintegrity MedSpa (www.skintegritymedspa.com) and Templum Aesthetics & Wellness (www.templumaw.com). On menu breadth alone, these four cannot be separated.
So separate them on what menu breadth cannot show. Look up whoever would treat you on the Washington Medical Commission licensing page. Read WAC 246-919-606 before you call, then ask each clinic what it means for your treatment.
Before you pick up the phone
If you are considering Pūr Skin Clinic - Kirkland, ask who would do the treatment, which license they hold and what you would pay in total, in writing. Then ask at least one of the other three the same.
